·         Moving databases into a new cloud environment

·         Responding to any significant issues to ensure that production continues to operate smoothly throughout the migration.
Qualified candidates will have:
·         5+ years DBA experience with both Oracle and SQL Server databases

·         Familiarity with database setup, performance tuning, backup/restore, documentation
·         Hands on DBA experience with SQL Server 2005, 2008R2, 2012 and 2014
·         SSIS, SSRS, Profiler, Tracing, DB Mirroring, Log Shipping, Replication
·         Hands on DBA experience with Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g, 12c
·         Physical migration of large databases using RMAN backup/restore, data pump, transportable tablespaces
·         Experience troubleshooting PL/SQL code
·         Experience with Oracle data replication
·         Database monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager and Sentry
As an employee of SESC working at our client site, you will receive salary, overtime pay and full-time employee benefits including: Blue Cross/Blue Shield medical/dental/vision/life/FSA/ST and LT disability insurances, paid vacation/sick/holiday/personal time, paid downtown parking, tuition reimbursement, 401k and more.
Please contact me to apply for the position and to talk more about the details of the work, the team and the project.
