Job description:

Software Engineer needed to join a great team architecting, developing, and providing software operations, maintenance and support. This job involves working with a variety of technologies. Current systems are developed in Oracle PL/SQL , PL/SQL Web Toolkit, Java, HTML/JavaScript/PHP/CSS, Oracle Forms/Reports/Discoverer/JDeveloper, and other application development tools in an EE 9i/10g environment including Oracle Portal.

We are looking for someone long-term and in the Colorado Springs area. NO RELOCATION BENEFITS PROVIDED. The candidate will have direct contact with end-users, so the candidate needs polished interpersonal skills.

Skills/Requirements:

Mandatory: Strong background in Oracle development including PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, and/or HTML/Javascript. Understanding of Oracle DB roles and management of object privileges; ability to read and interpret logical and physical data models; analytical skills including ability to research and recommend resolution of production issues; familiar with software lifecycle management; strong oral and written communication and customer service skills.

Highly Desired: Strong background in JDeveloper/ADF and Oracle Portal; familiar with Oracle Discoverer, PL/SQL Web Toolkit, Oracle Headstart. AJAX, XHTML, XML also a plus.

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED, and must successfully complete security clearance/background check due to access of the government computer network and information systems.
