Arisant is currently looking for a Mid-Level Oracle DBA to work with our team supporting Arisant clients. Ideal candidates will have a excellent troubleshooting skills as well as demonstrated ability to provide hands-on technical leadership in areas that include development and deployment of solutions. Arisant offers exciting challenges and excellent learning opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills.

Skills Required/Preferred
This position requires a leader with current hands-on experience with implementing and maintaining various Oracle database configurations.

* Oracle Data Base implementation, configuration, administration, patching, tuning and support, specifically for 10g and 11g
* Oracle Data Base performance tuning (DB and SQL statement tuning) is very helpful
* Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL - REQUIRED
* Strong experience with Unix shell scripting - REQUIRED
* Strong experience with Oracle utilities such as DataPump (EXP/IMP)
* Oracle Database and PL/SQL tuning experience - be prepared to analyze performance issues and recommend solutions
* Understand basics of Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, Windows)


Additional Requirements

* High integrity
* Ability to work as a team player
* Willingness and ability to share knowledge with others


Education and Experience
* BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related degree
* > 5 years related to Oracle DBA.

Travel Requirements
~100% from August 13 - October 6, 2012 (Arisant pays reasonable expenses for all travel), then 100% remote from Arisant Offices in Englewood for lengthy extension depending upon performance.  Travel to beautiful Boca Raton, FL.
