Advertising Rates

The contract for advertising is available in both Microsoft Word and HTML formats. Please contactwith any questions. All rates are per issue and for space reservations and placement only. Payment is due with submission of advertisement media. There are annual sponsorship packages and 20% discount for annual (4 consecutive issues) newsletter advertising contracts. No other discounts apply on new contracts and all advertisers will go to new contracts at the end of their current contracts and agreed upon prices.

Publishing Schedule

SQL>UPDATE_RMOUG is published quarterly. All ads are due on the following dates:

Issue Date	Ad Deadline
Fall 2002	August 30, 2002
Winter 2002	November 15, 2002
Spring 2003	March 7, 2003
Summer 2003	May 30, 2003

Requirements if Sending Ad as a File

(On disk or via e-mail)

Use QuarkXpress, Microsoft Word or Pagemaker files.
Be sure to include all fonts and graphics separately, even if graphics are embedded in the document.
All non-vector files (tif, jpg, bmp, etc.) must be at 300 dpi at full size.
Provide hard copy by mail or fax.

Requirements for Camera Ready

(B/W and 2 color only. 2nd color is reflex blue.)

Camera ready should be output at 2450 dpi, 150 lpi.
If 2 color, please send 2nd copy with color breaks shown.
If trapping is required, please output to film.

Requirements for Film Output

2450 dpi, 150 lpi, negs, emulsion down.
Provide hardcopy for b/w or 2 color, provide color keys or Matchprints for full color ads.
