The following are the notes to subscribe and unsubscribe to the list server, please follow these steps:
To subscribe to the Technical List Server:
1. Open your Email client and create a new message.
2. Enter listsrv@list.rmoug.org as the “To” address.
3. Enter subscribe techies in the body of your message.
4. Leave the subject of the message blank. If your mail program requires text in the subject field, enter random characters.
5. Send the email; you will receive a confirmation if you successfully subscribed.
Please note: if you have a signature block or any other characters in the body of the message you will not receive confirmation of your request to subscribe.
To subscribe to the Miscellaneous List Server:
1. Open your Email client and create a new message.
2. Enter listsrv@list.rmoug.org as the “To” address.
3. Enter subscribe misc in the body of your message.
4. Leave the subject of the message blank. If your mail program requires text in the subject field, enter random characters.
5. Send the email; you will receive a confirmation if you successfully subscribed.
Please note: if you have a signature block or any other characters in the body of the message you will not receive confirmation of your request to subscribe.
To unsubscribe to the List Servers:
1. Open your Email client and create a new message.
2. Enter listsrv@list.rmoug.org as the “To” address.
3. Enter usubscribe techies in the body of your message, to unsubscribe from the Technical List Server.
4. Enter usubscribe misc in the body of your message, to unsubscribe from the Miscellaneous Server.
5. Leave the subject of the message blank. If your mail program requires text in the subject field, enter random characters.
6. Send the email; you will receive a confirmation if you successfully subscribed.
Please note: if you have a signature block or any other characters in the body of the message you will not receive confirmation of your request to subscribe.
